Frog King

Hi again, I've been very busy this week trying to get caught up on some of my cards.  Well I hope you are all enjoying them.

Here is a card I made using the Cricut Cartridges Give A Hoot and Sesame Street Friends.

The card is cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I used white cardstock for the card.  The floral piece is also cut at 4 1/4" x 5".  The blue paper is cut at 3 1/2" x 4".
The lily pad is cut from Give A Hoot from page 54 cut at 2 1/4".
The frog is from Sesame Street Friends on page 72 cut at 4 1/4".
I ran the lily pad thru my cuttlebug using the Tiny Bubbles folder.  Inked over it with a creamy brown ink and added stickles on the crown and belly.

Well thanks for looking and have a great day!

Elegant Cake - Celebrate With Style

Hi everyone, I'm back with another very simple card using the Cricut Cartridges, Summer In Paris and Paisley.

This card is cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  For the card base I used white.
The black cardstock is cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I didn't want to see the white on the front of this card.
The pink cardstock is cut at 4" x 5".  I then used an EK Sucess border punch Dotted Scallop along the bottom of the pink cardstock.
I added the celebrate with style stamp using Stampin' Up Whisper White Pigment Ink.
The cake is from the Summer In Paris cartridge and is cut at 4".
Then added a black ribbon to finish the front off.

Inside of card.

For the inside of the card.
The black mat is  again cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
The pink mat is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
And the cherries are cut from the Paisley cartridge on page 37.  (Card/Tab button)  This is cut at 1 1/2".
I think I am just going to stamp an image on the inside using black ink.

Thanks for looking and I would like to thank you for your comments.  I love hearing what you think and please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Panda Thank You Card

Hi everyone,  I just wanted to show you this thank you card I made for Sheri over at My Sheri Crafts.  I won a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate,  I am so excited about it.  I don't usually win anything so I was very surprised when she sent me the e-mail saying I had won.  Anyway here is the card that I am sending her.  I hope she likes it.

The panda on the front of the card is from Pagoda page 36 and is cut at 3 1/2".
The panda on the inside of the card is also from Pagoda page 35 and is cut at 2 1/2".
The flower borders are an EK Sucess Daisy Chain punch.
The border on the top and bottom of the card are a punch from The Paper Studio called Architect.
I popped up the panda with some pop dots.
I love this little panda, he is so cute.

Inside of card

Thanks so much is from the Stamping Solutions cartridge.
Thanks for looking and hope you like it.

By the way if you haven't checked out Sheri's store, you should.  She has ATG guns on sale for $24.99.  I had been wanting an ATG gun for awhile now and could not justify spending $70+ on one.  When I found out about Sheri's website I thought I would try it out.  I am so glad I did.  I absolutely love this ATG gun and after I figured out how much money I am saving on tape now it is really worth it.

Thanks for looking and hope you like it.

Resting Ladybug

I think I am making up for lost time here.  I didn't get to post anything when I was in Missouri.  As you can see I was just a little busy.  Thought I would show you everything that I worked on while I was there.

Here is a card that I made for my daughter-in-law for her birthday.

Butterfly Block Quilt

Well I am back from my trip and as promised here is the quilt that we made.
It started out with me wanting my mother to teach me how to quilt and wound up being a fun project that my mother, my daughter and I all worked on.  Wow, 3 generations working on this.  Well we had fun making this.

Birdhouse Book

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on here recently,  I am visiting my family up in Missouri.  My mother and I are working on a quilt I will have pictures of it on this blog when we get it finished.  In the mean time here is a quick project that I have been working on.

For this projcet I used the following Cricut cartridges, Create A Critter, and Stretch Your Imagination.
The bird is from Create A Critter (I just love this cartridge).  It is on page 65 in your handbook and cut at 1 1/4".
The birdhouse, branch and leaves are from Stretch Your Imagination.
Birdhouse is on page 63 and cut at 2 1/2".
Branch is on page 48 and cut at 5" and the
leaves are on page 47 and are cut at 8 1/2".
The little flower border is a punch from EK Success, sorry not sure what the name of it is.
For the covers I used cereal boxes. I cut 3 time for each (front and back) and glued together then covered with paper.
Used the Bind-It-All and a 3/4" wire to hold this book together.
Hope you enjoy this project.
